About Me

Core Values

Respect

Every single person is deserving of respect, and I will treat every person, co-worker, and manager I encounter in my life with the dignity they deserve.

Perseverance

I specifically chose the word perseverance because it is defined by Merriam Webster as “the continuous effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition.” Life is going to throw curveballs, and being able to respond to these set-backs with determination and hard-work is an absolutely crucial skill to have.

Integrity

Perhaps the core value that means most to me. In everything a person does, I believe it so important to stay true and adhere to moral standards. Integrity is essential because it involves consistency and honesty, which leads to trust.

Humility

I believe everything I am and everything I have been given is from God. And these gifts and talents are not only for myself, but for me to then go out and positively impact the lives of the people around me.

Authenticity

I’m a firm believer that every person is at their best when they decide to own exactly who God created them to be. Every person has unique gifts and talents, and they should not be afraid to use them.

For Such A Time As This

Inspired by Esther 4:14, this is my tagline - my life motto summed up in 6 words.

I believe every single person has been created for a specific purpose. I also believe every interaction matters, as every single second we get to interact with a person around us is a gift from God and an opportunity to make an impact and a difference in their life. It’s a chance to recognize that every person has intrinsic value.

My Brand Promise:

To lead with heart and determination. I will remain content but never satisfied, always striving to be better than the day I was before. Every person was designed with a unique purpose, and I will encourage and uplift those around me with enthusiasm and intentionality, so that they may become the best, authentic version of themselves as they were created to be.

Epsilon Kappa Epsilon

I am honored to announce that I was recently inducted into Biola University’s Baccalaureate Honor Society along with 32 other students from the Spring 2021 Graduating class. Read my application essay on how Biola has shaped me into the person I am today:

Korean Heritage

One of the first things I tell people about myself is that I am a “hapa.” I am half-Korean, and I am proud of it. My mom is from Korea and most of her family (my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) still live there. I’ve had the privilege of going to South Korea every summer to visit family. Through these trips, I have become proficient in Korean speech, reading, and writing. I have also become culturally diverse and equipped in my knowledge and believe this will positively impact my relationship with people of all backgrounds in the future.

Music

Music is one of my biggest passions. I began taking classical piano lessons at the age of four. To this day playing the piano is one of my favorite things to do. I have also played clarinet since fourth grade and was the first chair of my high school band. I also really love to sing, and took voice lessons for six years! I was in many musicals - some of my favorite roles include playing Lucy in You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown and the Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods!

Softball

I have played competitive travel softball since sixth grade. From eighth grade to senior year, I was the starting varsity pitcher. I spent countless weekends of my summers playing for the SC Hurricanes and Capital District Fusion as a starting pitcher and outfielder. I attended Gordon College my first two springs of undergrad and was on the varsity softball team as a starting pitcher. Playing softball has taught me the importance of teamwork and perseverance. It is the reason I believe pressure is a privilege, and also one of the main explanations for the solid work ethic and determined mindset I have now.
